APC adopts voice-vote for congresses in Cross River
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has adopted voice votes in its local government congress in the state. In the congress monitored by DAILY POST on Saturday, the contestants for different positions in the executive who were elected by delegates through a voice vote emerged unopposed including the state chairman. Before the voting, a legal practitioner, Mr Owah Owah, moved a motion for the dissolution of the previous executive members of the state party. Mr Godwin Etim-John was re-elected as the state party chairman, while Mr. Martins Achadu was elected as the deputy chairman. Also, Mr Ernest Eki was elected as the Vice Chairman, Central, while Mr. Francis Ekpeyong and Mr. Mike Agbe were elected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
