President Goodluck Jonathan has admitted the criticism by Governor Rotimi Amaechi that his government has not done anything for the people of Rivers State. On Saturday, President Goodluck Jonathan met with the Nollywood practitioners and the details of what they discussed have emerged. The closed door meeting held late night at the State House, Marina, Lagos and the purpose of the meeting was to get the unwavering support of the industry. President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday promised that the Federal Government would raise $1bn to support over one million Boko Haram victims. According to Vanguard, Jonathan said this while on a courtesy visit to the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Shehu El-Kanemi in Maiduguri while in the Borno State capital in continuation of his presidential re-election rally.
