Meet The Nigerian Yoruba Woman Who Converts Waste From Nylon “Pure Water” To Bags, Clothes And Shoes
Over the years, social media has helped in publicising some raw talents so as to get them recognised and appreciated and maybe in the process also get someone who would change their lives forever.
A young Nigerian Yoruba lady is one of such talents that is in Nigeria and she is the definition of an innovative, hard-working and independent woman. Her name is Adejoke Lasisi.
She is a self made entrepreneur who was innovative enough to make use of something considered as waste and to be forgotten, to create wealth instead for herself. I believe she is the ideal “slay queen” that many Nigerian girls should look up to as an example.
Adejoke, makes use of discarded “pure water” nylon waste or rather sachet water nylon Waste to produce valuable things that can be used by individuals. From these wastes, she used her locally made wooden weaving equipment to produce shoes, bags and even Aso eke clothes.
