Minister of Comnunications and Digital Economy step in to settle MTN vs Banks problem

The Minister of Comnunications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, engaged the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigerian Communications Commission to settle the fight between MTN and Nigerian banks.

The lenders had blocked the network provider’s subscribers from using their USSD code to recharge or make any transaction. The ban of MTN customers was a protest to the Telco’s decision to reduce bank commission.
