Youghurt shop where Meghan worked offers huge discount {WITH PICTURES}

As part of the celebration of the Royal wedding today between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Youghurt shop where the Meghan worked has offered their customers 50% discount off the items they purchase today.

Meghan Markle’s humble beginnings haven’t been forgotten by those she left behind

Turns out Meghan worked at Humphrey Yogart around 1995 in the Beverly Connection, a WeHo shopping mall. The shop is long gone, but the H.Y. franchise in the San Fernando Valley is offering a strawberry and peanut butter frozen yogurt 50% … but only today, and only 1 per customer.

The yogurt shop boasts:

Meghan Mackle herelf who had a very humble beginnimg has always been known to champion causes that cater for the needs of children across the world.

The Prince and Meghan Mackle had reportedly asked guests at their wedding at Windsor Castle in England, to donate to charities instead of giving them wedding gifts.

On Monday, Kensington Palace announced the royal couple is requesting people to donate to charities instead of sending or giving them wedding gifts.

The couple has chosen seven charities and one of the charities is an Indian organisation, Myna Mahila Foundation.

The Palace in a statement said the seven chosen charities “represent a range of issues that they are passionate about,” including women’s empowerment, HIV, homelessness, and the environment.

“Many of these are small charities, and the couple is pleased to be able to amplify and shine a light on their work.”

Myna Mahila Foundation works with women in Mumbai’s urban slums, where they are supported professionally and personally to help them grow as individuals and businesswomen.

Myna offers women from these communities stable employment close to their homes and breaks taboos around menstrual hygiene by offering women access to low-cost sanitary pads and accurate information at their doorstep.

Providing mothers in the community with these products helps them equip their daughters to stay in school. The pads are manufactured and distributed by women from these communities. The organisation also empowers its staff through training in women’s health, English, Math, and life skills such as self-defence.
