Photos have shown how dead bodies are usually transported to and fro the mortuary in communities in the DR Congo    The rather stunning manner in which dead bodies are usually transported to the mortuary and from it  in DR Congo communities, has been revealed.   Photos showing the trend were shared online by one PK Kasirim and have since gone viral.   Kasirim explained that “boda boda” riders i.e commercial motorcycle riders are employed to carry dead bodies to mortuary by tying the corpses behind them on the bikes. They then ride along the road to carry out the assignment.   The same happens when the corpses are to be brought back home for burial.   Kasirim’s post has caused quite some buzz on social media as people alien to the trend express their surprise.   See another photo below:

The National Youth Service Corps, will on Thursday, April 19, commence Orientation Course for the 2018 Batch ‘A’ service year. The scheme made the announcement on its official Facebook page and Twitter handle;  officialnysc  and   nysc_ng  respectively. It urged all Prospective Corps Members who have been mobilised for the service year to ensure they adhere to all instructions on their call-up letters. “Congratulations for a successful mobilisation into the NYSC. You are adviced to read the instructions on your call-up letters and adhere to it. “We wish to inform you that as 2018 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Course commences on Thursday, 19th April 2018, you are advised to read the instructions on your Call-up Letters and adhere to them strictly. “You are also advised to set out to your areas of posting on time to avoid late night travels. “NYSC wishes you all journey mercies to your various Orientation Camps,” it said. ​ According to reports, 2Baba’s longtime manager, Efe Omorogbe has been arrested in connection with the crisis facing the Copyright Society Of Nigeria (COSON). The organisation has been experiencing an internal crisis that has divided the house into two factions – one led by Mr. Efe Omorogbe while Mr Toni Okoroji leads the other faction.
