Banks in Ilesa, Ijebu Jesa and adjoining towns in Osun State hurriedly closed for business on Wednesday after an alarm that some hoodlums were attempting to force their way into one of the commercial banks in the towns. There was confusion following the report, as many bank customers who were trying to make withdrawals at various Automated Teller Machine points fled, while banks shut their gates and prevented people from going in. A worker at one of the banks told  PUNCH Metro  that the hoodlums were prevented from entering the affected bank by security agents. The worker, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said all the banks closed their gates and ordered customers to leave their premises to forestall any security breach. The robbery scare also forced banks in Osogbo, the state capital, to close almost the same time with their counterparts in Ijesa. Davido revealed his allegiance to Tobi Bakre via a concise tweet which read, #TEAMTOBI  ?????’ Falz was more expressive about his support for Tobi. The BahdGuy Records frontman took to Instagram not only to reveal his allegiance to Tobi but also to solicit for votes for the most capped Head of House in the ongoing show. Orezi targeted students and alumni of Tobi’s alma mater, University of Lagos, in his tweet. He urged them to go all out and vote for Tobi. In a story that hit the internet like a bombshell, Wande Coal and his mother were accused of abduction by his baby mama. The lady whose name was given as Temitope, claimed the singer abducted their 10-year old son and the singer’s mom has refused her access to her son. The story got to Wande Coal and he has reacted. The singer has released a statement in reaction to the abduction story and in his written statement, he refuted most of the claims made by his baby mama. He rejected the claim that he rejected the child initially and stated that he was not told that he was going to be a father until much later. He went on to say that contrary to the claim by his baby mama, Temitope Ogunnusi, he and his mother never refused her access to the child. He stated that all that was said about his mother is a lie and that his family took steps to make his baby mama play a role in the life of her son but she continually shut the door.
