​ Love is such a beautiful thing. Davido‘s love story with Chioma attests to that. The singer who many would expect to be distracted by the bevy of beautiful ladies constantly throwing themselves at him, has come out fearlessly to say his heart belongs to only one woman – Chioma. Only today, Davido released a song which he has been talking about for a while. The song is titled ‘Assurance‘ and it was composed to express the depth of his love for Chioma. Since the release of the song, the number of streams and downloads have been soaring. The timing of the release of ‘Assurance’ was made to tie into Chioma’s birthday, which happens to be today, April 30th, 2018. The singer chose to celebrate his lover in style, and so himself and his friends took the beautiful chef out, to one of the plush places around. In the middle of the celebration, Davido saved a moment to publicly profess his love for her. He said; “Some people are in love but dem dey fear. Me I no dey fear, I’m in love.”

  Fashion entrepreneur and author, Laura Ikeji has gushed about her relationship with her husband, Ogbonna Kanu. The mum of one who is probably yet to accept the fact that she’s married to the man of her dreams narrated how they were best of friends who never thought they could get married. Laura Ikeji shared a throwback picture of the both of them together as she stated that they were both in different relationship then. She said she would have doubted had it been someone told her then she was going to marry him. Gushing about how things turned out, she wrote on Instagram: “This picture was taken September 2014. Dear Lord, I’m actually married to Ogbonna Kanu like yo!!!! If anybody had told me this particular day that I’ll be his wife I’d have laughed so look hard ehn. The singer doesn’t let any opportunity to show off Chioma is girlfriend slide – To the extent that he dedicated a song(Floral my Flawa) to her. Even though, Davido has 2 babymamas, he doesn’t hide his love for Chef Chioma. According to PPRO for Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmos, the reason Davido doesn’t joke with is current girlfriend ,Chioma is because she can cook. This si something Davido has boasted about over and over again.   According to the police officer, every man wants a woman who can cook as no man wants to spend the rest of his eating in restaurants.
