​ Davido’s girlfriend, Chioma, celebrated her birthday yesterday, April 30th, 2018, and Davido practically dragged the whole industry to join him in celebrating her. Prior to Chioma’s birthday, Davido and his team members had flooded social media pages with posts of how April 30th, 2018 would be ‘Chioma’s day.’ Most people thought it was just random posts until the day came, and Davido started it by releasing his highly-anticipated song titled ‘Assurance’, to celebrate his lover. More videos surfaced on the internet, showing scenes from the party organised for Chioma. And in one of the videos, it was seen that Davido bought Chioma a surprise gift in the form of a Porsche, a luxury vehicle that has been said to be worth about N45 million Naira. ​ Queen of Afro-house music, was live and online at the the maiden edition of Kingmaker concert in Warri, hosted by son of the soil, Harrysong. The  Maradona  crooner, generated a loud stir from the thousands of guests present at the well-attended event with her seductive moves, which mostly involved the whining and wriggling of her waist, as well as the vigorous shaking of her backside. She also showed off her streets by occasionally breaking into a ‘shaku shaku’ move during her musical performance for songs  Soke  and  Sicker . Fans attempting an on-stage stunt seemed to be the order of the night. One unlucky fan got his plans foiled by security who caught up with him before he could make his way to the seductive and booty-shaking songstress. Watch video below.

The Kingmaker Concert in Warri hosted by son of the soil, Harrysong, was a huge success. The show brought a whole lot of fun and excitement to the locale of Warri in Delta State especially for music fans who had long anticipated the epoch event since it was publicized on various media platforms. One of the performing acts for the show was kokomaster, D’Banj who treated his audience to a medley of music hits from his impressive repertoire of songs. But a particular highlight of his set was the moment two fans successfully pulled off an on-stage stunt; one dashing across to embrace the iconic singer while the other snatched his dark shades off of his face. Of course, the crowd hailed and cheered them on with enthusiasm just before security came to rescue. Watch video below.

​ Love is such a beautiful thing. Davido‘s love story with Chioma attests to that. The singer who many would expect to be distracted by the bevy of beautiful ladies constantly throwing themselves at him, has come out fearlessly to say his heart belongs to only one woman – Chioma. Only today, Davido released a song which he has been talking about for a while. The song is titled ‘Assurance‘ and it was composed to express the depth of his love for Chioma. Since the release of the song, the number of streams and downloads have been soaring. The timing of the release of ‘Assurance’ was made to tie into Chioma’s birthday, which happens to be today, April 30th, 2018. The singer chose to celebrate his lover in style, and so himself and his friends took the beautiful chef out, to one of the plush places around. In the middle of the celebration, Davido saved a moment to publicly profess his love for her. He said; “Some people are in love but dem dey fear. Me I no dey fear, I’m in love.”
