It was gathered that they suffocated to death by fumes from their generator which was facing their door entrance. The names of the FUTO students that died yesterday are Udeagbala Kenechukwu and Anene Stephen Nzube. Angry mob burn down station as policemen kill soldiers going on official leave to see their families Some men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) allegedely shot two soldiers in the leg over a minor misunderstanding. Acccording to reports, two soldiers were on pass to see their families when the Incident occurred. The two soldiers were reportedly serving in the northern eastern part of Nigeria. They encountered some policemen at the Nakuse-Kuje checkpoint and after a minor misunderstanding the soldiers were shot in the leg by the police officers. One soldiers died later and angry youths have burnt down a police station in the area. There has been several complain about police brutality in the past, despite the disbandment of SARS, police brutality still hasn’t been totally eradicated.
