Version 2.18.60 of WhatsApp for iOS brings a new problem, this time associated with notifications, which no longer show the name of the senders of the messages. SAMSUNG REPORTEDLY PLANS GALAXY NOTE 9 ANNOUNCEMENT ON AUGUST 9TH Report from Bloomberg this afternoon says one of the biggest of those phones The Galaxy Note 9 is on track to be announced on August 9th, two weeks earlier than the Note 8 was announced last year, according to the report. Samsung reportedly intends to release the phone by the end of August.     Last year, the Note 8 only went on sale after the iPhone 8 and X had been announced in September, which could have depressed sales by losing would-be buyers to Apple’s new tech. Supposedly, Samsung had actually be hoping to announce the Note 9 even sooner this year, but a report earlier this week said that it was delayed from July due to last-minute design changes. Bloomberg reports that Samsung plans to highlight an upgraded camera in the Note 9. That likely means the Note 9 will get the same dual-aperture trick that the Galaxy S9 picked up earlier this year, which was supposed to help the phone better expose for br

The forward was shown a straight red card after leaving the pitch to confront fans who were reportedly in an altercation with his family Cenk Tosun was sent off under strange circumstances as Turkey drew 2-2 with Tunisia on Friday.  The Everton forward had given his side the lead nine minutes into the second half from the penalty spot, only for Anice Badri to pull the home side level just two minutes later.  The drama unfolded shortly after Tunisia’s leveller, with Tosun walking leaving the pitch before launching into an animated confrontation with the supporters in the stands behind the team benches.  Reports in Turkey claim that supporters had thrown fireworks, with some hitting the striker’s father and other family members who had made the trip to Geneva to take in the match.  While Tosun never entered the stands, with his team-mates and Turkish staff stepping in to make sure he was not in a physical altercation, he was still shown his marching orders for making a throat-slitt

​ For refusing to honour Senate’s invitation, Ntufam Mba Ekpezu Ukweni, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) has advised the Red Chamber to issue warrant of arrest on the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris. Ukweni, who spoke with DAILY POST on Wednesday, decried the attitude of the IGP. Recall that the Senate had last week described IGP Idris as an enemy of democracy after he shunned the invitation for the third time. He spoke while addressing the ministers and workers of RCCG at the ongoing Northern Conference at the RCCG camp, in Jos on Saturday. Adeboye said those attacking him were actually attacking the congregants of RCCG worldwide and by extension the Christians.
