​ Singer, Mayorkun has put the industry in the mood of familial love with his touching story of how he recently met with his dad after two years apart. The  DMW  singer took to Instagram to share the story of his reunion with his dad which happened in Texas. In his narrative, he stated that he has not met with his dad in 2 years and at the last time he met his dad he was only ‘Mayowa’ and not the pop star that he is today. He stated that his dad came to Texas for his show and they shared a rare moment of father-son love. The singer shared his picture with his dad in his post and it has since evoked multitude of  awww- like comments. In a story that hit the internet like a bombshell, Wande Coal and his mother were accused of abduction by his baby mama. The lady whose name was given as Temitope, claimed the singer abducted their 10-year old son and the singer’s mom has refused her access to her son. The story got to Wande Coal and he has reacted. The singer has released a statement in reaction to the abduction story and in his written statement, he refuted most of the claims made by his baby mama. He rejected the claim that he rejected the child initially and stated that he was not told that he was going to be a father until much later. ​ The abducted twins of the Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, Dr. Lekan Balogun, have been released by suspected kidnappers who seized them and their mother in front of family house in Akobo area of Ibadan last week. Their mother was later dropped at a spot, while the abductors contacted the family with a ransom demand of N100m. The sum was reduced to N40m at the weekend, before it was eventually slashed to N10m on Monday. Balogun is one of the Ibadan high chiefs that were elevated to the position of monarch by the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, before the action was annulled by a court in Ibadan. Balogun said the N10m ransom was paid before the children were released.
