Bishop David Oyedepo Responds To Kwara Hijab Controversy Bishop David Oyedepo has criticised Muslims for demanding the wearing of Hijab in some mission schools in Kwara state. Christians and Muslims have been at loggerheads over hijab-wearing for female students in 10 government grant-aided missionary schools in Kwara state. Bishop David Oyedepo said it is wrong to wear hijab in mission schools. However, the founder of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, during a sermon advised Muslims to leave Kwara mission schools and look for hijab-wearing schools for their children. Separating from Nigeria will Help North Grow, Miyetti Allah If Nigeria separates today, herders will not be at a disadvantage, Fulani socio-cultural group, the Miyetti Allah Kautal, has declared. This was disclosed by a spokesman for the group, Saleh Alhassan, while featuring on Punch Online interview programme. He alleged that the livestock trade has not been developed because of oil money. He said things will be better if northern governors stop getting “oil money” from the federal government. Miyetti Allah says herdsmen won’t be at a disadvantage if Nigeria is divided.
