​ Singer, Mayorkun has put the industry in the mood of familial love with his touching story of how he recently met with his dad after two years apart. The  DMW  singer took to Instagram to share the story of his reunion with his dad which happened in Texas. In his narrative, he stated that he has not met with his dad in 2 years and at the last time he met his dad he was only ‘Mayowa’ and not the pop star that he is today. He stated that his dad came to Texas for his show and they shared a rare moment of father-son love. ​ Davido has stirred up a conversation on Twitter with his recent tweet about a new single and video set to be out on Monday, 30th of April, 2018. Some hours ago, the singer tweeted that he would be celebrating ‘someone special’s Birthday’ on April 30th 2018, with the release of a new single and video, and he wants his followers to guess which of his unreleased songs it would be. The singer is known for his habit of sharing teasers of unreleased materials and he might be referring to any one of the studio teasers he had previously shared on his social media platform. A lot of fans have been guessing which of Davido’s teasers would be released on Monday, in the form of a song, and most of the suggestions have been about a love song for his celebrated girlfriend, Chioma. It was recently reported that Davido saw hell during his recent trip to Zimbabwe. Not only was it said that his performance was marred by fighting in the audience, Davido was also dealt with by a certain South African actress named Boity, according to multiple reports but the singer has come out to refute the story. The news that Davido was involved in a fracas with Boity, hit the internet by storm. The producer of the song,  Northboi  dropped a hint that there is an ongoing plan to make a trap remix to the song and the new cut is likely to have the input of  Sess  who stands out as a leading African producer in the use of trap and hip-hop beats.  Northboi  dropped this hint via a tweet that has sparked public reactions.  Sess  has given the tweet his seal of approval by liking the post which alludes to the point that the remix is happening.
