Singer and filmmaker, Banky W has landed another endorsement deal. He announced on Instagram that he is now a brand ambassador for Pink Oak Trust, a cancer foundation that aims to help people suffering from cancer through donations. The singer took to Instagram to share the news and implied that he has special interest in the deal because of his personal experience with cancer. Towards the tail end of last year, Banky W told the world that he successfully underwent treatment for skin cancer tumor. He took to Instagram to express his gratitude to God and people who supported him in his battle against the lethal disease. Citing this history, he stated that he is excited to work on the project not just as an ambassador but as a survivor, a herald of hope and also as a financial donor to the foundation. A while ago the media went wild with reports that a certain jeweler named Kaycee called out Davido for owing him N60 million. According to recent reports, Davido’s accuser recently tabled the case before the court. Some weeks ago, Kaycee, a jeweler, took to Instagram to call out Davido for owing him a huge sum of money to the tune of N60 million which is allegedly the proceed from a business transaction they were both involved in. The jeweler claimed he sponsored Davido and his cousin, B-Red, when they were broke and needed money to finance a project that later paid off but the duo played a fast one on him and made away with the money. The accusation generated mixed reactions from the public and Davido also. While public opinion was split between those for and against Davido, the singer chose to threaten his accuser with death. Kizz Daniel might be having his first taste of baby mama drama now that he has been accused by a lady, of impregnating her and refusing to take responsibility for his action. Chinnysblog reports that they received a note from a lady who claimed to be pregnant for a Nigerian singer. The lady revealed the name of the singer to be Kizz Daniel, the front man of Flyboy Records. The note she sent read; ‘Hi CHINNY, I’m CHINNY please help me share this post I’m pregnant for a Nigerian singer Kiss Daniel but he has been avoiding his me and ignoring his calls and emails my my people I heard he coming to Nigeria today please help share so that he will see it and accept his responsibilities.’ The post was later followed up with another post by the alleged baby mama’s sister who claimed that her sister’s (the baby mama’s) account was hacked. ‘ For the first time ever, the #BETAwards2018 Best International Act category winner will be presented on the main stage.’  This was announced on May 16th, 2018, via the Twitter handle of BET Africa and as Africans, we should celebrate it. It is plus points for African music, cheering news for African artistes and good to see organisers of the BET Awards finally take to correction. This singular step would put an end to the many years of discrimination against Africans on a platform that takes pride in “celebrating black excellence.” BET Awards was launched in 2001 but the Best International Acts Category wasn’t introduced until ten years after, at the 2011 edition of the awards. The news of the recognition swept across the continent, causing excitement and pride to fill the hearts of Africans, many of whom took it as a sign of acceptance and validation from the International community. The excitement lasted till the ceremony where the winners – 2Baba & D’Banj never got to climb

Recent claims on Instagram that rap stars Eminem and Nicki Minaj have started dating have been thrown into question by new public statements, some saying it was all a joke. But on stage at a concert in Boston on Sunday, Eminem, 45, twice asked his audience “How many people in Boston want me to date Nicki Minaj?”  Much of the crowd yelled in the affirmative. “Well Goddammit, me too,” Eminem said, who proceeded to offer a few words for Minaj from the stage. “Nicki, if you get this message, just text me later, we’ll talk about it,” he said. Minaj, 35, who is responsible for sparking the dating speculation with an  Instagram post  last week, soon responded to Eminem’s Boston message. In a lighthearted Twitter post that she peppered with emoticons, Minaj laughed at Eminem’s shout out and declared that he is “silly & a goof just like me.
