Davido  is announcing International music festivals he would be performing at for the rest of the year and one of the exciting announcement is that the singer would be performing at Jay-Z’s ‘MADE IN AMERICA’ festival. The DMW singer is flooding his Instagram page with flyers of International music festivals that he would be part of in 2018. Falz has run into trouble with the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) because of the content of his ‘This is Nigeria’ video. The religious organization has asked the rapper to apologise and withdraw his video; or face legal action. Following the widely applauded initiative of US rapper, Childish Gambino, to capture the unfortunate happenings in the United States, in his ‘This Is America’ video; Falz made a cover version of the video that focuses on issues relating to the Nigerian society including the abduction of Chibok girls by Boko Haram terrorists and the incessant killings perpetrated by Fulani herdsmen. While the rapper has received plaudits for his uncommon initiative, some groups are unimpressed. MURIC particularly, are angered by the content of Falz’s ‘This Is Nigeria’ video especially ‘the scenes in the video where girls dressed in hijab were seen doing the “shaku shaku” dance’. Following the news that Dice Ailes bought a luxury house in Lagos and a new Mercedez Benz, the Chocolate City rapper’s means of earning was brought under question. However, he has come out to say he makes money from a legal means and not from fraud, as many have assumed. ​ Baseline Music act, Skales has unveiled the album artwork and music tracklist to his 4th studio project already titled “Mr Love”. Skales’ latest project has otherwise been dubbed ‘a compilation of love stories told in different languages and styles’. He attributes inspiration for this music project to his mum, who according to him, was his first experience of true and unconditional love. The  Love  album therefore is a personal reflection of love, both in concept and context, at different pivots of his life. The album “ Mr Love ” will be Skales’ fourth studio album, and while Skales already has an impressive record of music features with artistes all over Africa, he exemplifies that feat on the  Love  album where he enlisted industry colleagues across regions and class to help him tell his story of love. With production from some of his favourite producers to include  Chopstix ,  Echo ,  Pimp ,  T.U.C ,  Egarboi  and  Princeton , the  Love  album is complemented with the vibes o

Phyno’s bank account has increased by some extra 00s after the musician signed a deal to become the brand ambassador for Life Lager Nigeria. The said company is a subsidiary of Nigerian Breweries Plc that deals in the production of fine quality  lager beer  made from the choicest grains, hops and the purest of waters. The  Onyeoma  crooner recently announced the deal via a post on Instagram. The post contained pictures that captured moments from the deal-signing exercise. Although he (Wizkid) has since taken down the tweet, it has not stopped people from making a topic out of it. In the early hours of the day (June 3rd, 2018), Wizkid put out a controversial tweet that read;   ‘if I fxck your girl, u’re not getting her back.’ While the singer did not name anyone as the intended target of the tweet, the music community on social media have interpreted it as a shot at TeeBillz who is rumored to have lost his spot as Tiwa Savage’s lover to Wizkid. TeeBillz and Tiwa Savage were married for a period of about 4 years before the escalated crash of their marriage.
