Former marine turned amputee becomes fitness & underwear model 25 year old former US marine and Afghan war veteran Alex Minsky has turned his tragedy into triumph. He lost his right leg in an explosion in 2009 after driving over an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan when he was just 21. After losing his leg, he fell into depression and heavy drinking but with the help of his family, he found himself again and made some changes in his life. He also started working out regularly at a gym and that was where he was discovered by model scouts. Alex is now a sort after fitness and underwear model. The Education Minister announced this on Tuesday. The Minister of Education, Ruqayatu Rufai, has announced the cut-off marks for students that sat for the 2013 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, higher institution examinations. Five children and four adults including lollipop lady seriously injured after car crashed into them outside a primary school A black Audi A3 is believed to have collided with a lollipop lady escorting children across the road to Rhoose Primary School in the Vale of Glamorgan this morning. Police said there are 'multiple casualties' included adults and children although no one has died. It is understood the accident is not being treated as suspicious. The speed limit outside the school is 20mph.

Saadi, 33, was executed for abducting and raping 18 young children, while Baili had been convicted of murdering an Asian couple. The men had provoked widespread revulsion within Kuwait - Saadi became known as the 'Hawalli Beast' after the district where he carried out his crimes. He lured 18 boys and girls under the age of 10 onto rooftops in the area before raping them, according to the authorities. THE remains of an 82-year-old retired Inspector of Police, Elder Samuel Ekhoruyimen, who was allegedly abducted by some youths of Ewudu village in Ovia North- East Local Government Area of Edo State have been discovered in an ‘eveil forest’ near the village. However, his remains suggest that he was buried alive in a grave dug before his abduction. Pa Ekhoruyimwen who was the village head (Odionwere) of Oghobaghase near Ewudu community was said to have been invited to preside over the settlement of a dispute in his domain when he was allegedly waylaid and abducted by some youths of Ewudu village.
