Toddler who usually loitered around school with a book gets enrolled as pupil A little’s girl habit of hanging around the school premises with a book in hand has been rewarded by the school itself. The school, a non-profit institution identified as Not Forgotten Initiative, recently enrolled Amatala Musa as a pupil. They had talked to her mum about it as they weren’t admitting any student at that time but it didn’t stop Amatala from coming around everytime. The last straw, perhaps, that broke the camel’s back was when she showed again in her older brother’s uniform, shorts and oversized shoes. At least 32 killed in Egypt train crash after sabotage At least 32 people have been killed and 165 injured in a train crash in central Egypt, officials say. Two carriages derailed and overturned when two passenger trains collided near the city of Tahta, Sohag province. Emergency brakes were activated on the train in front by “unknown individuals”, causing the train behind to crash into it, the country’s railway authority said. President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi pledged tough punishment for those responsible. “Anyone who caused this painful accident through negligence or corruption, or anything similar, must receive a deterrent punishment without exception or delay,” he tweeted. According to Friday statement on their website, the candidates are to report for officer cadet training at the old site of the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, Kaduna on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Christians and Muslims have been at loggerheads over hijab-wearing for female students in 10 government grant-aided missionary schools in Kwara state. Bishop David Oyedepo said it is wrong to wear hijab in mission schools. However, the founder of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, during a sermon advised Muslims to leave Kwara mission schools and look for hijab-wearing schools for their children.
