The deal will see the new investor gain access to over 20 stores in Nigeria. MBO Capital and KPMG had advised Persianas. FG lifts ban on registration of new SIMs as Buhari returns from UK The Federal Government has lifted the ban on new Subscribers Identification Module (SIMs) card registration, The Nation has learnt. The effective date for implementation, the government said, is Monday, April 19, 2021. It however placed NIN registration as mandatory for registering new SIM cards. The latest development was contained in revised National Digital Identity Policy for SIM Card Registration approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.
