See the good news FG released regarding sim registration

Report has it that the Federal Government of Nigeria has authorized the establishment of SIM swap Centres by Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).

From the approval made by the Federal Government, SIM swap centres are to be established in all the 774 local government areas in the country.

This authorization and Federal Government approval was made known during a meeting titled NIN-SIM Registration which was headed by Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy

Aside the approval to establish SIM swap Centres, the FG also extend the tenures of National Identity Number enrollment agents with additional 4 years.

The NIN enrollment agents previously work for a year before they are being dissolved, however with the new approval, they could work for 5 years before being dissolved

This new improvements were all confirmed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and Nigeria Identify Management Commission (NIMC) in the statements released by the two commissions
